Applications Specialist I

About the Role

Responsible as a technical resource for outside salespeople, customers, and factories, troubleshooting problems in the office and providing field technical assistance as required. Works under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepares controls layouts and specifications
• Prepares submittals as needed
• Performs material takeoffs
• Provides problem investigation and analysis in the office or field, as required
• Provides pre-site visits before work is scheduled as required
• Develops specific goals and plans to organize, prioritize, and accomplish work
• Maintains knowledge of currently represented products
• Maintains project files
• Maintains and updates AutoCad Blocks and Bluebeam symbols for all represented factories
• Reviews and closes out projects as required
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Skills

• Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Intermediate level of AutoCad required
• Ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly
• Project planning and scheduling skills
• Must be available to travel
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam
