Applications Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and application expertise to customers throughout the Northeast territory.
• Partner with mill personnel and plant leadership to improve process performance, efficiency, and product quality.
• Lead product trials, troubleshooting efforts, and process evaluations.
• Support account growth initiatives alongside the commercial sales team.
• Build strong relationships with production, operations, and procurement stakeholders.
• Manage a territory representing approximately $15M in existing business, with additional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience within the pulp, paper, or packaging industries.
• Strong understanding of mill operations and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working directly with paper mills, converting facilities, or packaging manufacturers.
• Able to identify process improvement opportunities and provide technical recommendations.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Paper Science, or related technical field preferred.
