Applications Lead

What's the Job?

Own and lead technical support for complex data analytics solutions supporting global users. Resolve complex incidents related to large datasets, heavy transformations, and performance bottlenecks. Guide support analysts and collaborate with engineering and product teams to drive root cause analysis and implement durable fixes. Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, platforms, and configurations across Databricks, SQL Server, and Azure data services. Serve as the escalation support technical lead for challenging cases involving large-scale data processing.

What's Needed?

• 8+ years of experience in application support, technical leadership, or data platform troubleshooting roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Engineering and Python programming.
• Proficiency with Databricks, PySpark, including workspace management and data transformations.
• Strong T-SQL skills, including database design, stored procedures, performance tuning, and advanced querying techniques.
• Experience with large-scale data wrangling, troubleshooting end-to-end ETL pipelines, and understanding of RDBMS concepts.

About the Role

The Applications Lead will be an integral part of the Data Support and Engineering department, supporting a global user base across multiple Azure-based production environments.
