About the role

In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.

Applications Engineers at Texas Instruments (TI) are a highly-motivated, synergistic group with great team spirit and a strong commitment to the customer. In this role, you will promote TI products and provide technical solutions to customers that will ultimately go into consumer products like smartphones, PC peripherals, personal medical devices, electric cars, e-bikes and much more. You'll also provide technical support and engage with customers to help define new products and opportunities for future product development. Our applications engineers engage with customers virtually and in person to help solve their toughest technical challenges.

These experiences are hands-on, technical problem-solving focused with the goal of helping you create compelling solutions and win business for TI.

As an Applications Engineer, you will also get exposure to other roles such as Product Marketing, Systems, and Digital Marketing through formal learning, projects, and on-the-job development experiences that will help you broaden your knowledge and accelerate your growth and success at TI.
