Applications Engineer Emergency Lighting

About the role

Develop accurate, timely, and technically sound quotations based on electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Interpret one line diagrams, panel schedules, and control intent to define system scope and performance criteria
• Apply and ensure compliance with NFPA 101, NEC, IBC, UL 924, and other applicable codes and standards
• Support application and selection of emergency lighting inverters, transfer devices, and exit/egress lighting equipment
• Prepare technical proposals, submittals, and supporting documentation while owning technical issues through resolution

Qualifications

• Technical expertise in emergency lighting applications
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, one line diagrams, panel schedules, and control intent
• Knowledge of NFPA 101, NEC, IBC, UL 924, and other applicable codes and standards
• Experience with emergency lighting inverters, transfer devices, and exit/egress lighting equipment
