Applications Development Engineer - eBeam

About the role

The Global Products Group (GPG) within KLA, a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing, is seeking talented professionals to join our team. Our mission is to enable the movement towards advanced chip design by providing timely information on defects and imperfections through our innovative inspection, review, and metrology products.

Responsibilities

• Designing test plans, collecting data, performing analysis, and publishing results
• Conducting use-case demos to showcase tool performance and drive tool sales
• Supporting customers during Beta testing, evaluations, and head-to-head comparisons
• Investigating semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and providing solutions
• Creating and sharing product value statements and use-cases with engineering, marketing, and sales groups
• Training customers and other applications engineers

Qualifications

• High energy, self-driven, and motivated engineers with interest in High Tech
• Experience in Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Ability to perform complex data/image analysis using data-analysis tools
• A background in IC processing/Semiconductor equipment
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to perform domestic/international travel up to 50% on short notice

Pay

Base Pay Range: $97,800.00 - $166,300.00 Annually
