Application Support Manager

About the role

For our client, we are seeking an Application Support Manager to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will oversee application support operations for key planning and advisory platforms, ensuring internal users have the tools, training, and service they need to work effectively. The manager will serve as a central point of contact between technology support and advanced planning teams, helping translate business needs into reliable day-to-day application performance. Success in this position will depend on strong cross-functional coordination, vendor partnership, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in a regulated financial services environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between support and advanced planning teams
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to align on business needs
• Facilitate feedback loops and regular check-ins to support continuous improvement
• Oversee application administration and troubleshoot performance issues
• Collaborate with vendors to manage system updates and ensure reliability
• Develop training materials and support onboarding for new users
• Ensure compliance with company policies and assist with audits and integrity checks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• 7+ years in application support, relationship management, or operations
• Experience in financial services or technology preferred
• Strong understanding of financial planning and risk analysis platforms
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Workday preferred
• Advanced AI proficiency, including experience leveraging AI tools for business outcomes

Pay

Compensation: $105,000 – $110,000 annually
