Application Support Engineer

What's the Job?

Provide technical production support for high-volume transaction processing applications
Manage and troubleshoot enterprise applications, deploying updates and resolving operational issues
Monitor application performance using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and Moogsoft
Support cloud environments on Azure, ensuring optimal integration and resource utilization
Assist in designing and validating high availability and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT or related field
• Minimum 10 years of software development experience with Microsoft (.NET, C#) and/or Java technologies
• At least 3 years of experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Azure
• Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in diagnosing issues like blank screens and reducing impact
• Experience reading and writing code, scripting, and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Linux shell scripting
