Responsibilities
- Perform root cause analysis of production issues by utilizing SQL to analyze data and coordinate with the Production Support and Engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Serve as the primary liaison to work cross-functionally with clients, fund administrators, and business groups to manage and rectify data exceptions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define and implement data projects for existing and new features and workflows.
- Develop exception management tools to strengthen data quality control and produce metrics and dashboards to inform stakeholders on prioritizing resolutions.
- Define business and technology requirement documents for the Engineering teams to develop new features or to address issues.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its impact on business processes.
- Write test cases and perform UAT to ensure issues are identified and addressed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of business analyst or data application support experience within the financial services industry
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, business analytics, business administration, finance or in a related field
- Proven track record of performing root cause analysis and coordinating with engineers on investigation and resolution
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and relationship management abilities
- Experience with private equity or hedge fund business and data is a plus

- The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000.
