Application Support Analyst
Salary: $50,000.00 - $57,000.00. FLSA status: non-exempt.
About the role
The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is seeking a self-motivated Application Support Analyst to provide excellent customer service while working closely with business users and IT teams to resolve system issues, investigate data problems, and ensure reliable application performance.
This is a full-time, in-person position located in Oklahoma City. Remote work is not authorized. All interviews are conducted on-site; travel expenses will not be provided.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer requests for assistance in person, by email/chat, or over the phone.
- Monitor incident/request tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority.
- Provide application support for enterprise systems and business applications.
- Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues.
- Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Write and run SQL queries to validate and analyze data.
- Monitor application performance and system health.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and deployments.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation in the Knowledge Base System.
- Participate in Severity calls when appropriate.
- Utilize Microsoft Copilot AI tools to assist with daily duties.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of information and technology employment experience providing successful systems support, preferred.
- A four-year college degree or the successful completion of a technical course curriculum from an accredited information and technology institution, preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization and the ability to communicate technical solutions.
- Complex hardware and software troubleshooting expertise.
- Exceptional organizational, customer service, and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively in a team environment.
- Security awareness training a plus.
- ITIL knowledge a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones. The position requires:
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Ability to talk, hear, comprehend, observe, and evaluate.
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, operate office and computer equipment, and bend or stand on a step stool as necessary.
All AOC positions have the potential to require travel for normal duties, including state Judicial events and national industry conferences. MIS employees may be assigned on-call duties in support of judicial operations.
Office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
