About the Role
Our Application Specialists are part of a team that prepares concrete surfaces and installs epoxy, urethane, and other floor types in various types of buildings and facilities in the New England region. We work under tight deadlines, often during company shutdowns, to provide high-quality, durable flooring systems that meet or exceed requirements and expectations. Typically, each day starts between 5:00-6:00 am at the shop.
Paid 3-Day Training – No Experience Necessary. At this upcoming 3-day training event, you’ll learn about the materials, chemicals, and tools used to install floors, including mixing, grinding, and application. From there, you’ll be plugged into a work schedule where you’ll continue to learn and grow through our apprenticeship and training model, helping you work toward a long-lasting career as an Application Specialist, Lead, and Foreman.
Our core focus is to help people build lives they want to live. With that, we provide training and education to support long-term career growth within the industry and the organization. This includes potential advancement to Application Specialist Level II, Application Specialist Level III, Team Lead, Working Foreman, and Field Manager.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team with foreman/lead and crew
- Grind/shotblast concrete for prep
- Load/unload materials from truck
- Perform various types of manual labor
- Keep jobsite, trucks, and shop orderly and free from hazards
- Measure proper amounts of material
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Physically fit
- Arrive on time to the job every day
- Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience in construction/floors
- Skilled at using electric power tools
- Mechanical aptitude
