About the role

We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to join the Enterprise Capital Management Technology team within Corporate Treasury. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL and enterprise programming, along with deep domain knowledge in Capital Markets risk and regulatory calculations, and a proven ability to deliver techno-functional solutions in complex, greenfield transformation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Capital Management stakeholders to analyze requirements across Credit Risk, Market Risk, and Capital calculations.
  • Contribute to design and delivery of data ingestion, rules authoring and execution, and analytics capabilities for a greenfield platform replacing legacy Treasury Technology applications.
  • Author detailed functional and technical specifications and ensure alignment with Basel IV, FRTB, CRR, and related regulatory programs.
  • Develop and validate complex SQL for data analysis, reconciliation, and performance optimization on platforms such as Oracle Exadata.
  • Implement or review solutions in Python, Java, or .NET, ensuring quality, reliability, and traceability.
  • Identify risks, issues, and process improvements with clear remediation proposals.
  • Collaborate within Agile teams to plan, prioritize, test, and deliver increments on schedule.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall experience with at least 3+ years as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in a delivery-focused techno-functional role.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency, preferably on Oracle Exadata or similar enterprise databases.
  • Programming experience with Python or Java/.NET.
  • Deep understanding of Capital Markets with focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Capital calculations.
  • Knowledge of regulations such as Basel, CRR, CRD IV, and familiarity with Basel IV and FRTB initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and self-starter mindset.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to read and understand Python code and run reports in MicroStrategy.
  • Knowledge of Big Data architectures and Cloud computing.
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
