Application Infrastructure Engineer
About the role
As a cloud computing infrastructure architect, you will design, deploy, and maintain VMware on-prem private cloud environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, HA/DRS, vSAN, and lifecycle management. You will also manage servers such as Windows, Linux, or Mac, and have experience with vSphere administration, networking, and virtual environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain VMware on-prem private cloud environments
- Manage servers such as Windows, Linux, or Mac
- Use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support clients
- Modernize legacy computing platforms and applications
- Create new computing platforms from scratch
- Communicate and interact with clients via email and phone
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining VMware on-prem private cloud environments
- 3+ years of experience with VMware NSX or NSX-T for micro-segmentation, routing, and software-defined networking
- 3+ years of experience with VMware virtualization best practices for performance, resilience, and security in enterprise environments
- 3+ years of experience managing servers such as Windows, Linux, or Mac
- Experience with vSphere administration, networking, server management, and virtual environments
Qualifications
- Secret clearance
- High school diploma or GED
Skills
- Scripting experience (Shell Scripting, PowerShell, or Python)
- Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
