What You Will Be Doing
- Create impact by driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction by empowering your team to deliver best-in-class technical solutions and quotations that support business growth.
- Lead daily operations of the Back Office/Application Engineering team, coaching and developing employees to reach their full potential.
- Ensure timely, accurate completion of quotations and review complex proposals and technical solutions before delivery.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency across back-office workflows.
- Manage escalated customer issues and technical troubleshooting, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Support hiring, performance management, and workforce planning to maintain a capable and engaged team.
- Develop training programs, tools, procedures, and technical documentation to strengthen team capabilities.

- We would also imagine that you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience leading technical or engineering teams in a commercial or customer-facing environment.
- A strong technical background in pump systems, water technology, or related industrial products with quotation/proposal experience.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Office, and product sizing or selection software.
- Demonstrated ability in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members while managing operational KPIs.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- A background in customer sales support operations within a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Strong data analytics and reporting skills to monitor and optimize department performance are a plus.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position is $101,400 – $159,380. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Brookshire, TX.
