Application Engineer - Pressure Sewer

Responsibilities

• Initiate product quotes as requested from the field, collaborating with peers to ensure balanced workload for quick response
• Maintain Key Process Indicators such as new product sales, quote wins and losses or quote response time, as requested by manager
• Absorb and respond to customer requests, inquiries, and problems with a strong sense of urgency and care
• Assist Channel Partners and Regional Sales Managers with technical requests and preliminary field issue troubleshooting
• Assist with New Product Development and other tasks as requested by the manager
• Provide Channel Partner product training as requested by manager

Qualifications And Skills

• BS degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
• 0-3 yrs experience as Application Engineering preferred
• Strong emphasis on systems thinking and understanding of rotating equipment a plus
• Ability to maintain positive and constructive relationships internally and externally, even under difficult circumstances
• Interest in a future outside sales position preferred
