Application Engineer - Power Systems

Responsibilities:Promoting the Company and manufacturer brand systemsConducting Engineering and Contractor presentationsPromoting and training manufacturer Power Solutions SoftwareSizing and driving favorable specifications within affected CodesOffering technical assistance within the Company and to customersAttending meetings and contributing to company strategy and policy-making as requiredAttending business functions, such as trade shows and conferences as a guest and/or presenterDeveloping personal skills and capabilities through on-going trainingAchieving business and organizational goals, visions, and objectivesIdentifying problems and providing quality solutionsRequirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering desired or equivalent work experienceMinimum 2 years experience in electrical power systems preferred but not required.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.Exceptional presentation skills.First rate customer service skills.Advanced math skills.Able to work well unsupervised; able to work independentlyGood organizational skills and ability to multi-taskAbility to travel overnight.Clean driving record; insurable with the company insurance carrier.Must be able to pass a background check and periodic drug screens.
