Key Responsibilities
- System Administration: Architect, deploy, and maintain robust Linux server environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Infrastructure Management: Proactively monitor, patch, and upgrade both Linux server instances and AWS environments to maintain operational excellence.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and manage security compliance controls across the infrastructure, proactively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
- Documentation & Governance: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, inventory changes, and non-applicable security controls to ensure audit readiness.
- Hardware & Software Lifecycle: Execute the installation, integration, and decommissioning of hardware and software assets, ensuring seamless transitions within the existing networked environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to integrate new solutions into the network while maintaining existing infrastructure standards.
Required Skills
- Ph.D. plus two (2) years of experience, a Master's degree plus four (4) years of experience, Bachelor's degree plus six (6) years of experience, or an Associate's degree plus eight (8) years of professional experience is acceptable.
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience is acceptable if the candidate does not possess a degree.
- Proficient with Linux.
- Minimum of 3 years Linux server administration experience (within the last 3 years)
- Proficient with AWS.
- Minimum of 1 year of AWS experience (within the last year)
- Proficient with Ansible.
- Minimum of 1 year of Ansible experience (within the last year).
- Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and AWS instances.
- Security + cert Desired Skills
