Application Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Develop custom computer scripts to support laboratory data transfer and consolidation
• Work with internal teams to create new custom spreadsheets containing new custom code for data interpretation
• Generate validation documents such as URS, FRS, IQ/OQ, and UAT
• Execute testing to ensure accurate and reliable performance in accordance with established procedures
• Review spreadsheets to meet validation requirements
• Make changes to existing spreadsheet code

Qualifications

• Programming knowledge of Visual Basic
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to research and learn new techniques quickly, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Knowledge of GxP compliance in a pharmaceutical setting
• Basic minimum qualifications: Experience with Visual Basic code development, a degree/certification in science, engineering, computer systems, or equivalent directly-related experience, two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one year of education in related major, experience with technical writing, authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
