Application Engineer, EW / RADAR - Southeast
About the role
Rohde & Schwarz is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented EW/RADAR Application Engineer based in or near Fort Walton Beach, FL or Atlanta, GA. This role involves providing solutions to complex problems, supporting customers through demonstrations and training, and consulting on advanced EW/RADAR systems.
Responsibilities
- Technical support for RF and microwave Test and Measurement instruments
- Pre/Post-sales support, including customer demonstrations
- Consultant to customers involved in RDT&E of EW/RADAR solutions and techniques
- Develop and deliver technical seminars and customer training sessions
- Provide technical feedback to product developers
Qualifications
- B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years working directly in EW/RADAR
- Experience working with test equipment including Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Vector Network Analyzers
- Experience in the test and evaluation of advanced EW/RADAR systems
- Knowledge of advanced EW/RADAR system requirements, techniques, and industry trends
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interfacing skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to travel 30-40% primarily within the Southern US, with occasional US & international travel
Benefits
The total compensation for this position is $115K-$190K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable), and benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location, and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure, and job-related skills.
