UptimAI is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to support our growing base of automotive and aerospace clients. You will act as a dedicated project engineer, ensuring successful application of our AI-driven optimization and simulation tools.

About the role

This is a client-facing technical role, blending engineering support, software feedback, and practical implementation. While you won’t be expected to develop full-scale features, your insights and work will directly influence our product roadmap and customer success.

Our team collaborates closely with the European Space Agency on cutting-edge research projects and works alongside leading OEMs to deliver bespoke tools that enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customer projects
  • Assist clients in setting up and integrating UptimAI software for their simulation workflows
  • Analyze and validate engineering results using our statistical tools
  • Provide structured feedback to our development team based on project experiences
  • Join and independently run client-facing technical calls, demos, or support sessions
  • Contribute to internal testing and improvement of core software modules

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics
  • 2–5 years experience in an engineering or similar technical role
  • Solid understanding of simulation, modeling, or numerical optimization
  • Proficiency in Python or Matlab (at least basic scripting level)
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Ability to work across disciplines (simulation, data, product feedback)

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to APIs or integration of multiple applications via scripts
  • Experience in one of the following: CFD, FEM, DOE, or uncertainty quantification
  • Prior work in aerospace or automotive industries
  • Involvement in R&D projects

Pay

60-85k CZK (highly dependable on skills and experience)
