About the role

Sharpa is an AI robotics company founded in 2024, inspired by the Sherpa people of the Himalayas. We develop ultra-high performance, autonomous robotic systems for assisting, not replacing, humans.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end technical support for robotic products to clients, ensuring seamless installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Collaborate with clients' on-site teams to diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues, including hardware and software fault localization, data anomaly troubleshooting, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize client feedback and field performance data to inform product improvements and enhance user experience.
  • Develop and deliver targeted training programs for product operation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting for both clients and the internal engineering team.
  • Author, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, user-friendliness, and alignment with the latest product iterations.
  • Liaise with R&D, product management, and quality assurance teams to drive continuous product optimization, iteration, and upgrading.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Automation, Optoelectronic Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Proven application engineering experience in robotics or intelligent hardware products, with prior internship experience in roles such as Field Application Engineer (FAE) or Technical Support Engineer being highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of robotics-related products and their diverse application scenarios across various industries.
  • Basic programming and data analysis skills, with the ability to perform parameter tuning and functional configuration to address specific client requirements.
  • Proficiency in standard troubleshooting tools and methodologies, combined with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to converse in both English and Chinese for customer and stakeholder communication.
