In this position, you will collaborate with colleagues and partners to enhance and expedite the ICS design pipelines across America. You will provide expert technical support, develop strong relationships with design engineers, and contribute to marketing initiatives to increase Nexperia’s visibility in the market. The Application Engineer will work across teams of Regional Marketing Managers (RMMs) and Product Marketing Engineers (PMEs) to maximize Nexperia’s presence at customer sites by partnering with the account team.

Responsibilities

• Work with existing colleagues (Account Managers, Business Development, FAEs), distributors, and Sales reps to increase and accelerate the ICS design pipeline in America.
• Serve as an expert on relevant ICS products and roadmaps.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams.
• Develop trusted relationships with design engineers, both directly and through distributors.
• Support marketing initiatives and represent Nexperia/ICS, seeking speaker opportunities to increase market visibility.
• Promote and utilize Nexperia’s advanced support tools, including models, evaluation systems, and technical documentation.
• Create engineering design assistance materials, such as application schematics, demo boards, and simulations.
• Contribute technical content to drive awareness and interest within the design engineering communities of customers and prospects.
• Collaborate with AE teams in other Business Groups and application teams to optimize the promotion of Nexperia’s product portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in design engineering and application engineering.
• Experience in Power Management and related technologies is a distinct advantage.
• Familiarity with electronic product design processes, including component selection and qualification.
• Solid technical background with a deep understanding of analog ICs and power management ICs, as well as the challenges customers may encounter when designing them into applications.
• Experience in automotive, server, industrial, and commercial applications.
• Direct experience with Power Management ICs and/or Signal Chain.
• Basic skills in data analysis, visualization, and interpretation.
