Application Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Solve customer technical inquiries via phone, email, Webchat, and Teams
- Promote ifm products to customers when applicable
- Proactively identify areas to continuously improve Customer Support process
- Develop Digital Technical Support Content to be used online to support customers
- Perform customer service duties such as order entry, quoting, stock checking, invoicing, etc.
- Start to understand and learn products in the Complex Product Line
Qualifications
- A minimum of a 2-year technical degree, with a 4-year technical degree preferred
- Application experience with sensors and controls for a manufacturer or related industry
- Machine repair or maintenance experience with industrial equipment (a plus)
- 3 years or more of technical support experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
