Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between the customer and Marway to ensure project scope is fully defined and manage projects from concept to delivery.
- Review and assist with technical outlines, drawings, quotes, quality clauses, terms and conditions, and other documents to develop and prepare proposals for the customer.
- Communicate with all levels of personnel both internal and external to ensure timely schedule, cost, and quality of deliverables.
- Assist internal and external Sales Representatives by providing accurate technical and/or commercial information.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and utilize follow-up techniques to obtain future sales and/or gain market insight.
- Answer incoming sales and technical calls from customers in commercial, industrial, military/defense, and other key entities.
- Maintain and record all data as it pertains to Customer Relationship Management tools.
- Support in-person meetings, trade shows, and other customer-facing activities.
Work Environment
The work environment includes standard office conditions such as sitting, standing, walking, and using a keyboard. At times, lifting of product may be necessary.
Requirements
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and BOMs.
- Familiarity with commercial electrical safety standards (NEC / NFPA 70).
- Ability to concurrently manage multiple projects from start to finish.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Self-motivation, reliability, and resourcefulness.
- Highly organized with strong communications skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products and CRM tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Salesforce).
- Adaptable with a positive attitude.
- Skilled technical and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel (5%).
Qualifications
- Customer Service: 1 year (required); 2-5 years (preferred).
- Technical Sales: 1 year (required); 2-5 years (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field from a four-year college or university and two to five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay
Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 (based on experience and qualifications).
