Primary Duties
- Lead and execute test plans for both in-house products and various off-road OEM applications in the field.
- Conduct in-house and baseline tests in a stand-alone test facility for both diesel and natural gas engines equipped with a water brake dynamometer and a data acquisition system capable of recording temperature, pressure, frequency, 3D vibration, and more.
- Field testing will be conducted using the same data acquisition equipment on our OEM’s completed equipment in real-world, representative test environments.
- Examples of off-road OEM equipment include pumps, generator sets, harvesters, street sweepers, and agricultural sprayers.
- Assist with the prototyping of new products as well as assist in product development.
Skills And Education Required
- Four-year degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical engineering
- Strong communication skills to interact with sales force and OEM engineering and production personnel
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on ability with engines and power-train components in off-highway application is strongly preferred
- Interest in Data Acquisition and Analysis, experience with Siemens LMS DAQ or NI Compact Rio DAQ a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of completion
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve desired results with little direct supervision is imperative
