Responsibilities
- Size and specify custom-engineered products for a variety of applications
- Apply engineering principles to analyze requirements and design tailored solutions
- Serve as the technical lead on assigned projects
- Generate sales and fabrication drawings, and develop cost estimates for specialized product quotes
- Perform fabrication and production support throughout project lifecycles
- Provide installation support and troubleshooting for field service applications
- Develop tools and resources to improve engineering team efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Project Management teams
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Application Engineering and/or Project Engineering
- Experience in catalyst and/or silencer design strongly preferred
- Proficiency in 3D modeling; SolidWorks experience highly desired
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in time management, organization, and meeting project deadlines
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative, practical solutions
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (Syspro preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
