Application Engineer

About the role

Design and deliver seamless integrations across critical business platforms—eliminating manual work, improving data accuracy, and driving smarter decision-making. Partner with business stakeholders to turn ideas into automated solutions using modern tools, APIs, and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Analysts to translate business needs into automated workflows and integrations
• Design, build, and maintain integrations across key platforms including Acumatica ERP, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, UKG, Deltek VantagePoint, and Microsoft 365
• Develop and manage APIs, web services, import scenarios, and business events within Acumatica
• Build Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to streamline internal processes
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell and scripting tools
• Leverage AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and scalability
• Monitor and optimize workflows to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance
• Support reporting and data initiatives through SQL queries and database insights

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience developing integrations using tools like Celigo or Boomi
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or VBScript
• Experience working with APIs, JSON, XML, CSV, and data transformations
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience

Nice to have

• Experience with Acumatica ERP, Procore, or Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Exposure to Celigo integrations and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Experience designing or maintaining SQL Server databases
