Application Engineer 4

Responsibilities

• Drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation.
• Experience with cloud computing and virtualization platforms.
• Quickly learn and adapt to the latest cloud-computing, networking, and infrastructure management technologies.
• Show excellent communication, writing, problem-solving, and architectural whiteboarding skills.
• Show strong knowledge of application system and network architectures and associated security principles, including protection of data at rest, in transit, and in process.
• Show knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions.

Requirements

• A commercial Cloud Certification at the Associate level, a specialty, or higher; AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are preferred.
• Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework/Zero-Trust Implementation.
• Experience with security-focused AWS concepts and services including IAM (Identity Access Management), SCPs (Security Control Policies), AWS Key Management Service, AWS Config, AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Inspector.
