About the role

We are seeking an experienced Application Development Analyst to support a Florida State Government agency by modernizing manual, paper-based business processes. The role involves designing and implementing digital solutions using the SimpliGov platform or comparable low-code/no-code technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in transitioning manual, paper-based business processes into digital workflows using the SimpliGov platform.
  • Design, develop, and maintain digital forms and automated workflows based on business requirements.
  • Build workflow automation to route forms, documents, and notifications to appropriate users.
  • Review and validate digital forms to ensure compliance with state regulations, agency policies, and business procedures.
  • Monitor active workflows and generate reports using platform reporting tools.
  • Extract and analyze workflow data for reporting and operational insights.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users of the SimpliGov platform.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Serve as the SimpliGov Administrator, ensuring platform governance, best practices, and operational standards.
  • Maintain documentation and support continuous improvement of digital workflow processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or four (4) years of equivalent professional experience (relevant work experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis).
  • Experience with SimpliGov or a comparable low-code/no-code platform.
  • Experience designing and developing digital forms and workflow automation.
  • Experience configuring automated document routing and notification workflows.
  • Experience validating forms for compliance with business rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience monitoring workflows and generating operational reports.
  • Ability to provide technical support and end-user assistance.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience administering enterprise workflow platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a full-time onsite environment.
  • Two professional references from recent projects are required with submission details.
  • Must have government/State client experience.

Preferred Skills

  • SimpliGov Certified Professional Certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, OpenGov, or Tyler Technologies.
  • Experience with workflow automation and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge through work samples, interviews, and professional references.
