Application Developer (SWE-2)

Leidos has an opportunity for an Application Developer in our Intel Sector. Our team specializes in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with data scientists and mission analysts to solve demanding strategic problems.
• Perform software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain tools and tradecraft into the customer’s corporate architecture.
• Develop custom analytics to perform at scale, operationalizing data science solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant development experience or equivalent.
• Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, GM, Java, Python, and PySpark.
• Experience with customer tools, architecture, data flow, and use of big data.
• Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals and data analysis.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Agile methodologies.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.

Skills

• Software development processes (requirements analysis, software design, implementation, testing, integration, deployment, and maintenance).
• Data Science, AI/ML, and using Large Language Models (LLMs).

Pay

Pay Range: $87,100.00 - $157,450.00. The Leidos pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors considered include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, and market data.
