Application Developer / Senior Application Developer - Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Job Summary
At PGE, we are seeking an Application Developer / Senior Application Developer to join our Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. This role is open to both Mid-Career and Senior level candidates, with the level determined by qualifications, experience, and skills.
Key Responsibilities
Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications and subsequent iterations using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result.
Takes part in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work.
Maintains application support processes and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures.
Uses application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reports.
Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents according to agreed procedures. Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution. Escalates unresolved incidents.
Facilitates recovery following resolution of incidents. Documents and closes resolved incidents according to agreed procedures.
Initiates and monitors actions to investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes and services. Determines problem fixes/remedies. Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs and takes into account target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems.
Defines the integration build, accepts software modules from software developers and produces software builds for loading onto the target environment.
Configures the hardware environment, produces integration test specifications and conducts tests, recording details of any failures and carrying out fault diagnosis.
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, management or other related field or equivalent experience.
Typically, five or more years in related field for Mid-Career level, eight or more years for Senior level.
Required Experience: Identity Access Management (IAM), Authentication and Authorization, Identity Governance Administration (IGA), Access Certifications (manager, application owner, role-based, advanced certification configs), Lifecycle events - joiner/mover/leaver automation, Java/JavaScript programming, SailPoint IIQ.
Preferred Experience: Privileged Access Management (PAM), Idira (CyberArk), Regulatory frameworks such as SOX or CIP, Single Sign-On (SSO) – SAML, OAuth, and SCIM, Utility Experience, PingFederate, PingOne/Davinci, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud.
