Application Developer II

Key Responsibilities

• Provides training, troubleshooting, and support to software application users
• Coincides with third parties and IT partners to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Designs and implements changes to the ERP system
• Tracks and manages changes to the application software per defined Change Management process
• Records, tracks, and documents the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution
• Determines severity of incidents and efficiently escalates them using the incident management process
• Keeps requester informed of progress
• Ensures resolution meets user requirements while meeting Service Level requirements
• Supports a 24 x 7 manufacturing environment
• Supports various software and applications, including enterprise solutions (ERP)

Skills

• Microsoft Access/Excel/Word/PowerPoint expertise is required
• Visual Studio (VB.net / C#), PHP, VBA (Office Programming, MS Access)
• Oracle (PL/SQL), SQL Server (T/SQL), and DB2 query writing and troubleshooting
• SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS

Education & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of work experience in an IT related field is preferred
• High School Diploma and 5+ years of relevant work experience; 3+ years with Associates
• General knowledge of Windows Server (2019 and newer) operating system
• Knowledge of various Database Management Systems (DBMS)
• Experience with troubleshooting desktop operating systems
• Programming and debugging skills
