About the Role
As a full-stack developer, you are responsible for front-end and back-end application development. This role involves designing, architecting, coding, and implementing user interfaces, applications, APIs, database interfaces, logic controls, and error handling for web, cloud, thick client, and standalone applications. You will also build integrations between local and remote systems, both company and third-party. Occasionally, you will gather business logic and requirements, QA your code, and collaborate with DevOps for productionizing.
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and maintain custom applications across the application stack.
- Conduct various research tasks via SQL Scripts to support external requests.
- Work collaboratively within an agile project team.
- Follow best practices and coding standards.
- Grow your personal skillset to work well within established team parameters.
- Effectively and accurately convey information to others.
- Perform related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- 1-2+ years in a full stack developer role.
- Proficient in T-SQL, .NET Framework, and C#.
- Required experience with the following languages and concepts:
- C#.Net
- T-SQL
- Any JavaScript framework from the past 5 years (more than just jQuery) – our Sprint Team uses Angular, and a willingness to learn from code examples.
- APIs
- JWT Token Authentication
- Relational Table Design in MSSQL
- Triggers & Stored Procedures
- Preferred experience:
- JSON/XML
- ASP.NET
- Multi-Threaded Development
- C++
Skills & Knowledge
- Familiar with distributed architecture and relational databases.
- Working knowledge of the SDLC and Agile Framework—understanding software development from inception to delivery.
- Experience using T-SQL with SSMS to answer questions regarding data.
- Experience developing custom software in an enterprise environment.
- Experience in front-end web technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud service platforms.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Good communication skills with a customer support orientation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL database, SQL scripts, and queries.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise good judgment, especially where borrower or client data is affected.
- Ability to troubleshoot in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to provide service to other departments while managing internal project loads.
- Familiar with working in a data warehouse environment.
- Ability to prioritize and remain focused in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task and resolve issues in a timely manner and within established SLAs.
- Mortgage servicing expertise a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills; strong writing and composition abilities.
- Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-directed and comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty.
Work Environment
- Working on-site at assigned office location.
- Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
- Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
- Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
- Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
- Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
- Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
