Application and Installation Engineer

About the role

The Application and Installation Engineer plays a crucial role in the successful deployment and support of Caterpillar equipment. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical systems, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application solutions for Caterpillar equipment
• Coordinate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
• Install and commission Caterpillar equipment according to manufacturer specifications
• Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting support to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Caterpillar equipment into customer environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Caterpillar equipment
• Proficiency in using CAD software and other relevant tools
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel as needed

• Technical knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and industry standards
• Experience with project management methodologies
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
