Application Administrator III

About the role

The Application Administrator III supports and mentors the integration of OSF HealthCare System applications through development, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and decommissioning functions. This role is service oriented, ensuring consistent availability of approved applications to mission partners as a service within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supports and mentors the integration of OSF HealthCare System applications
• Develops, implements, monitors, troubleshoots, maintains, and decommissions applications
• Ensures consistent availability of approved applications to mission partners as a service within a team environment
• Provides technical expertise for the effective use of approved applications
• May require occasional travel

Requirements

• Associate's Degree with 3 years' experience in information technology or healthcare OR High School Diploma and 5 years' experience in information technology or healthcare
• Business Knowledge in Microsoft, Platform Virtualization, CompTIA, Citrix or Epic Client systems or similar platforms that are used in Healthcare Technology Information systems delivery
• Licensure/Certifications: Active certifications in area of discipline (minimum of 2) is required such as Microsoft (MCSE, MCSA, or similar); VMWare (VCA, VCP, VCAP, or VCDX), CompTIA (A+, Network+, or Cloud Essentials, or similar), EPIC Client System Administrator, Citrix Certified Administrator, or certification within your area of discipline as approved by application Manager/Director. 2 certifications in area of discipline within 18 months of hire. Certifications must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other closely related field in order to understand information technology principles
• 6 years HealthCare Information Technology experience
• Experience with key OSF application systems
• Experience with application implementation and support
• Experience leading others

Skills/Knowledge

• HL7 interface, x-12 EDI, or other data exchange knowledge as appropriate
• Knowledge of network, server, database and messaging technologies as it applies to application support

Pay

Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
