Qualifications
Key Tasks:
- Supports implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Manages IT system infrastructure and processes related to these systems.
- Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provides Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Supports the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
- Configures and manages UN1X and Windows operating systems, installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Supports the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
- Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with server hardware applications and software integration.
- Supports implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Provides Tier I (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Manages the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Provides assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
- Provides Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Supports the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
- Configures and manages UNIX and Windows (or other applicable operating systems) and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity of and configures network components along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Supports the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
- Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with server hardware applications and software integration.
- Fifteen (15) years' experience as a System Administrator (SA) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Pay
The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is $155,000 to $201,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
