Application Administrator
What's the Job?
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain application software across Windows and Linux server environments.
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve complex production problems promptly.
Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), application maps, and configuration guides.
Manage user access, security permissions, and application-specific settings to ensure secure and efficient operations.
Participate in discussions related to hardware and storage cluster changes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of experience as an Application Administrator, System Administrator, or in a related technical role.
- Proven experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications, especially in engineering environments.
- Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting both Windows and Linux servers.
- Good working knowledge of core AWS services, including deploying and managing applications in AWS.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.
