Appliance Repair Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Appliance Repair Technician to service residential homes and investment properties throughout the Tampa Bay area.

This is a 1099 contractor role with flexible, appointment-based scheduling—ideal for technicians who want control over their time, workload, and earnings.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair household appliances (kitchen and laundry)
• Perform maintenance and preventative service checks
• Identify parts needed and communicate repair estimates
• Complete service calls efficiently and professionally
• Maintain clean and safe work environments in client homes
• Communicate job status, completion, and any issues promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience repairing residential appliances (refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washers/dryers, etc.)
• Able to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Must have own tools, transportation, and valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently and manage appointments
• Licensed and/or certified preferred (EPA certification a plus)
• Must carry general liability insurance
