Responsibilities
- Respond to client requests for appliance service
- Evaluate and diagnose home appliance problems
- Estimate the costs of appliance repair, service, and installation
- Repair appliances
- Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services
- Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
- Teach homeowners how to operate their appliances
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
Qualifications
- A high school diploma/GED
- Previous experience as an Appliance Repair Technician preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification to work on air conditioners and refrigerators preferred
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Excellent customer service skills
