Appliance Installation and Delivery Technician

About the role

Appliance Delivery Install Tech responsible for preparing, delivering, installing, and servicing residential laundry equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks
• Assemble and test appliances
• Ensure proper installation of water, electrical, gas, and venting connections
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers and promote satisfaction
• Respond to service calls
• Work independently and follow safety protocols
• Safeguard company assets

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years related experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to lift 35-100 lbs
• Proficiency with digital tools
• Experience with large appliances, power tools, and installing appliances (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills

Physical & Special Requirements

• Ability to work in various environmental conditions
• Ability to maneuver in tight spaces
• Obtain necessary certifications including forklift and medical examiner’s certificate
• Must be 21+ years old and able to drive a commercial vehicle
