Appian Lead developer Role || Remote work

About the role

Seeking an Appian Lead Developer for a remote contract position. The role involves leading Appian BPM development, designing processes, integrating systems, and ensuring delivery using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define application user roles and responsibilities.
• Responsible for all configuration, continuous code integration, development and functional testing.
• Understand requirements, design and map them to business processes.
• Design and develop database objects to support BPM applications.
• Participate in day-to-day activities of the Appian BPM development team.
• Deliver projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies as dictated by the project.
• Handle integration objects.
• Perform coding and troubleshooting.
• Work with Process Model, CDT, Records, Reports and Site design.
• Apply knowledge of Appian AI, Process HQ, RPA and IDP tools (advantage).

Requirements

• Overall IT experience of 8+ years.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Appian design and development.
• Experience with Appian 20.x and above.
• Experience writing optimized SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
• Good knowledge of process optimization.

Qualifications

• Appian Certified Lead Developer or Appian Certified Senior Developer.

Skills

• Good experience with Process Model, CDT, Records, Reports and Site design.
• Excellent hands‑on experience in coding and troubleshooting.
• Good experience handling integration objects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large programs of work with multiple functional and technical capabilities.
• Knowledge of Appian AI, Process HQ, RPA and IDP tools (advantage).
• Familiarity with IBM BPM, TIBCO, PEGA or similar workflow applications (good to have).
