About The Opportunity

As an Apparel Production Artist, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between innovative design and flawless execution. This hands-on production role is perfect for a graphic designer with a deep understanding of apparel production, where you'll meticulously translate creative direction into accurate, production-ready artwork and schematics. Working closely with designers, you will independently manage production needs across the broader Design team, ensuring technical excellence and precision in every piece of performance apparel.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Create and maintain apparel, trim, and screenprint schematics with exceptional accuracy.
  • Translate creative concepts and graphic designs into production-ready artwork, ready for manufacturing.
  • Prepare detailed artwork for apparel and physical product applications, adhering to stringent standards.
  • Utilize Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite tools to build, modify, and organize production files efficiently.
  • Ensure all artwork meets technical specifications, precise dimensions, placement requirements, and production standards.
  • Partner with graphic designers and cross-functional teams to execute designs accurately and seamlessly.
  • Proactively identify potential production issues and recommend effective solutions to maintain project flow.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities independently, consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support the broader Design team with essential production needs and technical execution expertise.
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and production-ready design files, ensuring easy accessibility and consistency.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating a strong foundation.
  • Professional experience in graphic design specifically within apparel production.
  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Hands-on experience creating apparel schematics, trim schematics, and screenprint schematics.
  • A thorough understanding of apparel graphics and how designs translate effectively into physical garments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously within precise technical specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively, and with minimal direction.
  • Ability to support multiple designers and effectively manage competing production priorities.
  • A portfolio demonstrating graphic design and apparel production work is required.

Qualifications To Set You Apart

  • Experience with CLO 3D or other 3D apparel design software.
  • In-depth knowledge of apparel construction, trims, embellishments, and various garment decoration techniques.
  • Experience with screen printing, color separation, pre-press, or other print-production processes.
  • Experience supporting athletic, performance, fashion, or sportswear apparel categories.
  • Experience working with specific sport categories such as Running, Training, or Tennis.
  • Experience in a fast-paced design organization, supporting multiple stakeholders effectively.
