Responsibilities
- Develop and execute materials sourcing strategies aligned with cost, quality, and lead-time objectives.
- Build and manage a global supplier network, with a strong focus on partners in Asia.
- Partner cross-functionally with development, planning, and costing teams to drive informed sourcing decisions.
- Lead seasonal execution and tracking, ensuring timelines and deliverables are consistently met.
- Analyze data and synthesize insights to provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for supplier optimization, risk mitigation, and process improvement.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and delivering exceptional results.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in materials sourcing, product sourcing, costing, manufacturing, or product development.
- Background in materials (textiles, fabrics, trims, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and work effectively across global teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive execution independently.
- Experience working with international suppliers, particularly in Asia.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, tracking, and reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and present to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in performance or athletic environments.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Experience sourcing woven materials or technical textiles.
- Background in large, matrixed organizations.
- Exposure to sustainability or supplier strategy initiatives.
