Apparel Designer- Men's & Women's

About the role

The successful candidate will design and develop fashion products for both men's and women's apparel lines. This includes conceptualizing new designs, creating sketches, and overseeing the production process.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop new fashion designs for men's and women's apparel lines
• Create detailed sketches and technical drawings
• Select fabrics and materials that meet quality and design standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and sourcing departments
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and sustainability practices
• Manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in apparel design
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Understanding of sustainable fashion practices and industry trends
• Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually
