APP – Trauma Surgery – Des Moines - $10,000 Starting Bonus

About the role

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, established in 1893, is a Level II Trauma and Primary Stroke Center with 875 beds and over 800 physicians across 30 specialties. This full‑time position (0.9 or 0.6 FTE) is on night shift with no call, using EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Participate in trauma team activations
• Provide consults for trauma patients
• Manage inpatient care of trauma patients from admission to discharge

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an Acute Care setting, OR 5 years of experience as a critical care nurse
• Active Iowa NP/PA license
• Board certification required
