Specific Job Duties
- First or second assistant for all cardiac surgical procedures (both adult and pediatric)
- Suturing
- Balloon and chest tube insertion/removal
- Management
- Experience with harvesting saphenous vein grafts
- Harvesting radial arteries
- Endoscopic vein harvesting
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience required
- Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PA-C)
- Maintain BLS and ACLS certification
- Licensed by the California State Physician Assistant Board
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting base compensation range: $150,000 - $240,000
