APP (NP/PA) - Inpatient Cardiology

Job Description

The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking an experienced AGNP or PA to join our collaborative team on a full-time basis. We operate in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where quality, collegiality, and patient-centered caring come first.

The Role

As a vital member of our clinical team, you will manage admissions (H&Ps), develop daily therapeutic plans, and coordinate emergency care.

Key Responsibilities

• Order/interpret labs, ECGs, and diagnostic tests.
• Serve as the primary contact for nursing and consult services.
• Manage progress notes and daily orders.

Shift & Schedule

• Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
• Hours: Primarily 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Rotations: Every 3rd weekend; occasional holidays and nights.

What We’re Looking For

• Credentials: Must be a PA or NP with Board Certification in Adult Gerontology Acute Care.
• Experience: Experienced providers preferred (New grads considered only with extensive Cardiology backgrounds).
• Educational Background: Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Licensure: Current MA license, DEA, and MCSR required.
• Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence and a team-first mindset.

Pay Range

$133,515.20 USD – $181,563.20 USD
