Job Duties
- Work with cohesive team of attending, fellow, resident, and advanced practice provider staff
- Function independently and autonomously
- Competent in procedures (intubations, PICC lines, umbilical lines, radial art sticks, chest tubes)
- Required to go to at risk deliveries
- Self-scheduling/supportive group of APPs
- Experience preferred, but not required
Requirements
- MSN Graduate of an accredited advanced practice registered nurse program
- Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Ohio and Certificate of Authority as an Advanced Practice Nurse from the Ohio Board of Nursing
- Certification as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in specialty
- Physician Assistant graduated from an accredited PA program with certification to practice by the NCCPA and active licensure to practice in Ohio by the State Medical Board of Ohio
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or obtains within 90 days of hire
- Obtains other advanced life support certifications applicable to practice area within 180 days of hire

- Maintains a standard care arrangement and renews/signs it as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing
