APP- Medical Oncology
MultiCare Cancer Institute is a physician-led, multi-specialty group within MultiCare Health System, delivering integrated hematology, oncology, radiation, surgical, and supportive care across Washington state. Each year, we diagnose and treat more than 6,000 new cancer cases across Olympia, Spokane, Tacoma, and Yakima. About the role
MultiCare Cancer Institute is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical oncology team in a 0.5 FTE, shift-based role supporting weekend coverage. This position focuses on triage, symptom management, and inpatient support, providing vital continuity of care for oncology patients while offering a predictable schedule and meaningful work–life balance.
- 10-hour shifts — work Fri–Mon every other week
- Balanced, half-time FTE with stability + meaningful impact
- Core responsibilities include symptom management, weekend triage, and inpatient support
- Collaborative environment working alongside 20+ hematology/oncology providers

Requirements
- Washington State Nurse Practitioner license by the time of employment
- DEA, NPI & Prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay
Tiered compensation based on APP years of experience (YOE):
- 0-4 YOE: $85,500.00
- 5-9 YOE: $88,200.00
- 10+ YOE: $90,900.00
*PLUS opportunities to make extra income with additional shifts, quality incentive up to $5,000.00 annually, and more!*
