APP - Inpatient Cardiology Nocturnist - Jewish Hospital (Onsite)

Job Summary

The UofL Physicians is seeking an experienced cardiology APRN or PA Nocturnist for inpatient cardiology patient care at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. The shift-based position is seven on seven off; 7 PM - 7 AM. 182 shifts are required annually.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource to educate patients, families, professional nurses, and staff
• Functions as a liaison between patient, family and UofL Physicians staff
• Participates in clinical research
• Demonstrates advanced level of medical and nursing knowledge, clinical and technical competency, sound clinical judgment, professionalism as it relates to interpersonal and general communication skills, timely and compliant documentation
• Takes responsibility for ongoing professional development and competency validation
